I know this war might not be very popular with some folks, but that doesn't mean we don't support the boys on the ground fighting street-to-street and house-to-house.

If you feel the same as I do then pass this along, or you can discard it and no one will never know.

Thanks very much for your support. I know you'll all be there again when I deploy once more.

Semper Fidelis.Sgt. Howard C. Wright1st Force Recon Co1st Plt PLTPLEASE DON'T DELETE THIS . . ALLOW IT TO BE PASSED TO ALL IN MEMORY OF ALL THE TROOPS WHO HAVE DIED SO THAT WE MAY HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE TO SUPPORT THEM OR NOT! ! !

Michael Peltier: Crist calls for fitness challenge

Look for it on your local public television channel, though it may find its way to commercial stations.

Historically, the governor has given the request during a joint session of the Legislature convened Tuesday morning. In breaking with tradition, Crist is doing it when working folks can actually see it. That's if they choose to do so.

Contact Michael Peltier at mpeltier1234@comcast.net.

Ron Paul "libertarians" and the Hitler Youth

I don't suppose it would do any good to remind the "libertarians" that this is the same old tired horseshit that brought the "neocons" to "power???" Blah blah... smaller government... yadda yadda... brought you Ronzo Reagan... who paved the way for the Bushistas... all fighting the evils of "collectivism." I think G. Edward Griffin is sincere... I think Ron Paul is sincere... shit... Reagan was sincere. So was Hitler. And I have to admit... when Griffin said "collectivism and freedom are mortal enemies," I wanted to shoot him. Especially prefaced by by all his "we don't need a majority" and "we must seize power" crap. Die Fanne hoch... I've heard it all before. Frankly, you young "libertarians" scare the crap out of me. You remind me of the Hitler Jugend. You want roads to drive on... cops to "protect" you, water to come out of the tap...

Holy Fuck–that's hypnotizing electronica

Although Graham Walsh plays in one of the most hypnotically adventurous acts currently toiling under the banner of electronic music, he'll cop to being something of a latecomer to the genre.

“I was a rock guy," confesses the keyboardist for Toronto-based improvisationalists Holy Fuck, reached at a tour stop in Guadalajara, Mexico. “I think I consider myself to be a guitar player more than anything. I never actually did go to a rave or get that far into electronic music as I did rock albums and alt-rock stuff."

Walsh notes that, more often than not, Holy Fuck is labelled an electronica act, even though the band—which includes keyboardist Brian Borcherdt and a rotating rhythm section—doesn't rely on laptops when it plays live.

“I think we get that because what we're doing is instrumental with no guitars," he offers.
